Babe: The Gallant Pig is a wonderful book by Dick-King Smith. It is about a little pig named Babe that tries to find his place in the world. He gets sent to Farmer Hogget’s farm when Mr. Hogget wins him by guessing the pig’s weight. As Babe grows, Farmer Hogget begins to see Babe’s true potential, but as the most unexpected thing of all: a sheep herder. Who has ever heard of a pig herding sheep? Well, Babe is out to prove everyone who hasn’t heard of it wrong. In the end, will the fact that Babe is a pig stop him from achieving his dreams?
I think that this is the best book ever! It is my favorite book of all time. The movie, which came out in 1995, is great too. I think it is an amazing story of friendship, dreams, and not letting anyone or anything stop you! If you love animals and great, inspiring, and exciting stories, pleas read this wonderful book!//
