Pet Care Tip of the Day

If your cat sheds a lot, consider brushing it more often or changing its diet. Often, poor nutrition or too many chemicals in pet food can cause a pet to shed excessively. This isn’t always the case–some cats are just more prone to shedding, and all cats have a heavy shedding period a few times a year. Brushing may help with your cat’s shedding period. If your cat’s fur is coming out in clumps, ask your cat’s veterinarian about this, as it could be attributed to a disease or parasites.
